FAQ's & Customer Information

  1. Are your shirts made to measure?  We offer tailored numerical sizing from 0 through 22 with a superior fit. By offering a well designed shirt in standard sizes, we're able to keep the cost of our shirts focused on high quality and eye catching embellishments not found on other show clothes vs. custom pattern making. 
  2. How long does it take to make a shirt? Based on the current volume of orders and the amount of hand work required for your embellishments, a shirt could take from a few weeks to a few months. Our designer will be able to give you an estimated delivery date during your consultation. 
  3. When do you start on my shirt? As soon as you place your order your shirt production begins! As embellishment occurs after the shirt is made, any additional embellishment requests begin subsequent to the shirt being delivered by our manufacturing partner.
  4. Can I cancel my order? Any order can be cancelled within 24 hours. After that time, the order has been placed with our manufacturing partner and cannot be cancelled, but any embellishments can be changed. Contact us at customerservice@ridesoutherly.com. 
  5. Can I return my shirt? Only the ready to wear Black Collection or black unembellished shirts are returnable within 14 days of delivery. Because each shirt is made one at a time with customer specifications and fabric, we do not accept returns on our made to order shirts.  However, we do want every customer to be extremely happy with their order, so if there is something you don't like, please contact us and we will do everything possible to make it right. 
  6. How do I care for my shirt? Most of our fabrics are dry clean or gently hand washable in mild detergent, laid flat to dry. In certain cases, dry cleaning may not be the best option due to the embellishments. We will advise you based on your specific shirt. We also recommend using a warm iron after washing with a press cloth and iron applied on the wrong side. Occasionally, embellishments will loosen or come off the garment and can be easily re-applied with Fabri-Fuse 6000, available at most fabric stores or online. In addition, we offer shirt repairs free of charge for the first year of wear.
